Our Painting Process.

Our painting process is simple, yet effective.

  1. Preparation:
We prepare the wall by removing any old paint or wallpaper and repairing holes with sticky mesh and plaster, which needs a day to dry. It's also crucial to cover carpets, cabinets, and anything else that needs protection with plastic to prevent paint splashes.

2. Sanding:
Sanding may be used on rough areas to provide an even and smooth surface for the paint. This is done using rough sandpaper as shown below.

3. Painting:
To maximize efficiency, we typically have multiple people painting simultaneously. One person uses a paint roller for the broad areas, while another handles the corners with a smaller brush, which requires more time and precision.

A paint roller covered in white paint rests on an open paint can lid, with splatters of paint visible on the roller, lid, and carpeted floor, indicating a painting task in progress.

4. Drying:
If the wall is extra dirty, had a lot of damage or was painted in a different colour to the one being applied, then multiple coats may be needed.

What's the cost to paint a room?

The cost of our painting services varies, taking into account factors such as the wall condition and the number of coats required. However, to offer a general idea: For a standard painting job involving two coats, our prices typically range from £250 to £500. This estimate includes all necessary materials. If you choose to supply your own materials, or if the job requires only one coat of paint, the price may be adjusted to between £150 and £400.Please note, additional considerations such as significant wall damage or the need for wallpaper removal will likely increase the overall cost.
